MANAUS – The president of the City Council of Manaus, David Reis (Avante), revoked on the afternoon of Tuesday, 28, the bidding that awarded two communication companies approximately R$800 thousand to provide advertising and marketing services to the Legislative House. The annulment considered the principle of self-control of public administration and revoked the bidding process that took place in pregão presencial mode No. 027/2021, on Monday, 27.

The document justifies that the principle of self-tutorship allows the Public Administration to exercise control over its own acts and that it can review its acts at any time.

The winners were the companies Grupo Mídia Publicity and Events Ltd. and Tape Publicity Ltd. and aimed at hiring specialized consulting services companies in institutional marketing, to expand the actions and boost the use of communication channels of the Municipality of Manaus, both for the external public and for its internal public (endomarketing), and broadcast advertising reports in newspapers, magazines, blogs and news portals on the Internet.
