MANAUS – After suffering a serious accident at Avenida Coronel Teixeira, Ponta Negra, West Zone of Manaus, in October this year, the businessman identified as Ivair Carlomagno, 19 years, was discharged, on Thursday, 25, from the Sírio-Libanês Hospital, in São Paulo. The man is the son of the owner of a luxury restaurant, and crashed his car, a BMW, into the back of a bus. He was in serious condition.

Before leaving for São Paulo, Ivair was admitted in a serious condition at the Hospital Santa Julia, in the South Zone of Manaus, but had to be transferred to the medical center in São Paulo. In social networks, Ivair’s mother, Claudia Carlomagno, thanked God for her son’s dismissal. “Leaving the hospital, as I begged the Lord, my God”, she celebrated.

Accident

The accident involving BMW and a public transportation happened on October 11th of this year. According to information from the Military Police (PM), the businessman had just removed the vehicle from the concessionaire. Upon arriving at the scene, the Military Fire Department of Amazonas (CBMAM) was informed that Ivair had been taken to the Emergency Service (SPA) Joventina Dias, in the Compensa neighborhood, in the West Zone of the capital of Amazonas.

Fake News

A news portal in Manaus came to report the death of Ivair through social networks, but was soon denied by family and friends of the businessman, who sought CENARIUM to inform that the information was false and that Ivair was recovering well. At the time, the CENARIUM reporter went to Santa Julia Hospital and talked to professionals at the health unit. They confirmed that the businessman was hospitalized in the unit.

Outraged with the fake news spread, family and friends reported Instagram to the police, and viralized a message referring to the lies that had been disseminated on social networks: “What this site does is not new. They deceive the reader to gain clicks with disgrace and lies. They don’t care about the pain of the family, who are hoping for the victim’s survival”, a friend of Ivair Carlomagno told CENARIUM.
