MANAUS – CENARIUM AGENCY started this week the certification process of international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. With the process, internal practices will be focused on improving processes and structuring the company for efficient management, a factor that will contribute to better content generation for readers and partners, also adjusting the company’s responsibilities in reducing the impact on the environment.

To take care of the certification, CENARIUM will count on the consultancy of the company Exithus, from the economist Marcus Evangelista (Reproduction/Youtube)

ISO is short for International Organization for Standardization, which means, in free translation, International Organization for Standardization, an entity formed by an association of 162 standardization bodies. Among the standards that will be implemented in CENARIUM is ISO 9001, aimed at implementing guidelines and requirements for a quality management system, with a focus on customer satisfaction. While ISO 14001 is about putting into practice the guidelines and requirements for better environmental management, focusing on pollution prevention and environmental protection.

Certification

Among the advantages of ISO 14001 is the improvement of environmental policies within the company, to seek international competitiveness, sustainable and without aggression to the environment. In addition, the standards ensure effective growth and unnecessary expenses.

In addition, ISOs aim at increasing profitability, improving the company’s image, complying with environmental legislation, and customer satisfaction. To achieve this goal, CENARIUM will count on the consultancy of the company Exithus, of the economist Marcus Evangelista, president of the Union of Economists of Amazonas (Sindecon-AM).

“It is necessary to implement a set of actions that correspond to the requirements demanded for certification, made by a certifying audit. Suppliers, partners, as well as the organizational structure of leadership and the engagement of employees are fundamental to ensure the success of ISO”, explains the specialist.

Commitment

In the evaluation of CENARIUM’s CEO, journalist Paula Litaiff, ensuring the certification means reinforcing the company’s commitment to corporate and personal development, as well as making the journalistic environment more standardized and aligned with market trends.

“The certification will lead us to a standardization of processes, something that is already common in other segments, but little used in the journalistic environment. This will give us more ownership and authority as a brand and will reinforce our commitment to corporate development”, concluded Litaiff.
