MANAUS – After being notified by Justice and forced to grant right of reply to the senator of Amazonas Eduardo Braga (MDB), the host of the program ‘Sinal Livre’, Willace Souza, expressed his dissatisfaction before the decision and revealed that his father, the former state lawmaker Wallace Souza, was persecuted by “a cowardly person who acts in the shadows”.

“My father was very persecuted by a person, in this state, by a coward. Whoever did this to him, Wallace Souza, is a coward, who doesn’t show his face, acts in the shadows, acts in the dark. He doesn’t have the courage to hit him in the face, to confront him. He uses tricks to persecute, to do evil things to people”, the communicator said during the program on Wednesday, 23, after reading a letter left by his father.

The letter written by the former congressman, while he was in bed in the Beneficente Portuguesa hospital, in São Paulo, points out that “he is mistaken who thinks he is strong, that he is the owner of the world and will be judged equal to all, without a throne and without a crown,” says an excerpt from the letter.

In the letter, Souza also points out that a story built with truth and courage cannot be silenced. “A story cannot be muffled, even more so when it is built with truth and courage, even if the power is greater, monetarily, indecently, unfairly, the greater is God who will not allow sleep. The dream is not over, it will not end like this, what comes from the strength of the people never turns to ashes,” wrote the former state lawmaker.

Willace acknowledges that the family is afraid and apologizes to family members, but says he will keep fighting. “I want to say that I will, yes, be a rock in the shoe. The truth will be told, no matter who it hurts. I am not here to be just one more, if I were to cower, I would be at home in an air-conditioner, but I am here for war.”

The right of reply sent by the defense of the MDB leader was also published, in full, on Willace Souza’s official Instagram profile. In the text, the defense of Braga says it is false the news that the senator is the owner of the company Amazonas Energia and complete that Willace uses the space of the program to attack “gratuitously a senator of the Republic with 40 years of public life.
