MANAUS – With 22 years promoting the economy and encouraging entrepreneurs in Amazonas, the State of Amazonas Development Agency S.A. (Afeam) operates in the provision of credit lines to the primary (Agribusiness), secondary (Industry) and tertiary (Commerce and Services) sectors for the Self-Employed, Liberal Professionals, Rural Producers, Individual Microentrepreneurs – MEIs, Micro and Small Companies.

On August 20th, the State government, through Afeam, in partnership with the Development Company of Amazonas (Ciama) and the Federation of Trade (Fecomércio), announced the special lines of credit for traders affected by the pandemic period, which means, the Emergency Credit, aimed at serving micro and small businesses.

It was also announced the Afeam Mais, with the purpose of making available financial resources from R$ 50 thousand to R$ 2 million for companies that are stronger in the market. “The greatest satisfaction in being part of Afeam’s history is to see the transformation in people’s lives. Many had dreams of starting small businesses, applying for the smallest financing, they grew and came back with their companies more structured and taking higher flights, in other words, consolidating the reason for the existence of the agency”, emphasized the CEO of Afeam, Marcos Vinícius.

Socio-Environmental Importance

The Agency adopts a Socio-environmental Responsibility Policy in accordance with Bacen Resolution No. 4,327 of April 25, 2014, in order to develop a fundamental role in favor of society and the environment focused on social causes based on the principles of human rights and compliance with ethics towards its internal and external public.

Credit

This year, from January to August, Afeam performed more than 11,500 credit operations with the application of 107,598,529.63 covering all sectors of the economy both in the capital and in the interior. By November of this year, emergency credits will be available with release until December.
