MANAUS – “I passed for the position of Control Center operator thanks to the CNH Social. I had no conditions to pay and when I was contemplated it was a happiness”. On the morning of Wednesday, 28, the governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima, He announced, in a press conference, at the headquarters of the Amazonas State Department of Traffic (Detran-AM), south-central zone of Manaus, the opening of 10 thousand more vacancies for the Social CNH program. In all, 35 thousand low-income people, registered in CadÚnico of the federal government, they must be contemplated in this phase of the program, which still provides for the opening of more 5 thousand vacancies in a new notice until the day 9 of January 2023, totaling 40 thousand Amazonas benefited.

The CNH Social program completed a year in December, with 13,600 people in the process of obtaining a driver’s license and another 1,500 that already have the license issued. In Manaus, are 3.844 people served, already in the municipalities within, the program reached 9.832 people.

For Governor Wilson Lima, the Detran-AM was the body that most advanced in the modernization process in the state. “Today, you do not need to go to the headquarters of the body to make the services, because everything is digital. We expanded the financial institutions that can receive the fees from Detran in a work to increasingly optimize the services delivered to the population”, said.

AMAZON AGENCY asked the governor about urban mobility projects, in view of the increase in drivers and the impact on traffic in Manaus.

Wilson Lima replied there is partnership with the municipalities, both Manaus and the interior, that continues and that infrastructure works are within the strategic planning of the state. “We have a partnership between the municipalities and the state government for the assembly of structure in Detran, the Military Police and Municipal Guard. These are constructions that we have done to ensure these improvements”, he said.
