In Amazonas, União Brasil and PSC present pre-candidates for state lawmaker

MANAUS – In a mega event on the night of Friday, April 1, the parties União Brasil and Christian Social Party (PSC) launched the names of pre-candidates for state lawmakers by the legends. The event took place in the Belarmino Lins auditorium, at the State Legislative Assembly, located in the Parque 10 neighborhood, Center-South Zone.

“União Brasil is the largest party in the country and we are setting up the largest political movement in the history of Amazonas. We are working to count on the largest number of parties possible and thus have the largest representation possible in the Legislative Assembly. We keep working and until the end of August we will define all of this”, affirmed the State Governor Wilson Lima.

Lima highlighted actions taken by the government such as the implementation of ICU beds in the countryside, the permanent state aid and the free student pass. “We continue integrating the State of Amazonas and that we continue advancing in the policies we have created, in actions that are unprecedented, such as the implementation of ICU beds in the countryside, the permanent state aid, and the student free pass, which was a dream”.

Pre-candidates

The PSC presented 25 names as pre-candidates for state lawmaker, among them: Alessandra Campelo, Miltinho Castro, Dr. Gomes, Caio André, Dr. Mike, Dr. Daniel Vasconcelos, Nega Alencar, Robson Jr. Tiradentes, Maria Bonita, Ráiner Figueiredo, among others.

According to the state president of PSC Amazonas and pre-candidate for state lawmaker, Miltinho Castro, the party wants to elect four representatives. “Our first mission is to form a competitive slate. We are working since 2020 where we elected the largest bench of councilors of Manaus and the largest bench of mayors of the interior. The PSC wants to keep the two lawmakers with mandate and elect two more”, said.
