Justification

In the justification, the Bidding Commission states that the patrols to be purchased will expand and support actions of soil preparation, pasture formation, acidity correction, firebreaks, harrowing and leveling of the land for planting, ensuring the productivity of the areas efficiently, ensuring the cultural, productive and environmental sustainability, with more than 15,000 families of small farmers, with the possibility of multiplication, reaching the entire state, which will be served through the 30 Casas de Produtor Rural (CPRs) distributed in 15 municipalities.

According to the public notice, the cargo vehicles must support the “development of agricultural policies in the State”, such as: actions that promote the commercialization of agricultural products through the availability of means of transportation and positive impacts on the local economy.

“The commercialization of agricultural products originated from family production, which is outsourced due to the lack of cargo vehicles, which devalues the products at the source and raises their final price, limiting the commercialization due to the costs employed, until they reach the commercialization places, such as open fairs and supermarkets. Therefore, the cargo vehicles will guarantee that the products can be transported to the commercialization sites, thus generating an increase in the producers’ income”, says one of the excerpts of the public notice.

“The following will be acquired for each agreement: 7 pieces of equipment, 21 implements, and 11 cargo vehicles, as listed in Annex 1 of this term. This way, we will have: a) 21 mechanized patrols containing: 90CV tire tractor, plowing harrow, remote control grader, and dump truck; b) 1 fleet of trucks, according to Attachment 2 of this term. Thus, 117 goods will be acquired”, concludes the justification.
