MANAUS – The task force of the Regional Electoral Court of Amazonas (TRE-AM) ended on Wednesday, 4, with, approximately, 14 thousand voter service. The information was confirmed by the president of the TRE-AM, Wellington Araújo, in a publication on social networks.

The deadline for voters to apply for electoral registration and transfer operations ended on Wednesday, October 4. On the same date, the deadline for provisional detainees and interned adolescents, who are not registered to vote, to register or request the regularization of their situation in order to vote in the 2022 elections, by revising or transferring their Voter’s Card in the state where they are located.

A record number of registered voters

According to data released by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), more than 7.2 million consultations were held in the last 30 days, an all-time record. Also according to the survey, 4,037,709 Electoral Registration Requests (RAEs) were filed, in person, in the electoral registries. Another 3,172,204 were filed online, through the Título Net system.

On the last day for issuing the Voter’s Title, national and international celebrities led an Internet campaign to encourage young people to get their first copy of the document. Actors like Mark Rufallo, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Brazilian singer Anitta mobilized on behalf of the upcoming elections in Brazil.
