MANAUS – The search for the parachutist and lawyer from Curitiba, Luiz Henrique Cardelli, which began on the last day 15, continues near the Journalist Phelippe Daou Bridge and extends to the banks of Puraquequara, in the East Zone of Manaus. Now, in addition to the Brazilian Navy, the teams have the support of federal forces from the Army and Air Force.

At a press conference held this Sunday morning, 17, Colonel Orleilso Ximenes Muniz talked about the reinforcement of the teams and expansion of the search area. “We have extended our radius of action to the Puraquequara region, both in water and on the banks, on land,” he informed.

The colonel recalled that the collaboration of the population made Ana Carolina’s body was located and requested the help of riparians and communities that are on the banks of the Rio Negro.

“Any suspicion that may indicate a person let us know, we are there with several boats, aircraft and people in the water to make the rescue, if necessary. We ask that the population contact us through our social networks and emergency numbers 193 and 190,” he asked.

The crisis cabinet set up by the Amazonas State Government is still active and collaborating with the work of the agents of the Executive Assistant Secretary of Planning and Integrated Management (Seagi), the Executive Assistant Secretary of Operations (Seaop), the Integrated Department of Air Operations (DIOA), the Department of Technical Scientific Police (DPTC), the Military Police of Amazonas, the Civil Police of Amazonas and the Fire Department of Amazonas.

On social networks, Luiz’s friends posted messages of hope and support for the search. In the profile of “Regulariza Amazônia”, a company where Luiz is a partner, a note was published talking about the search and asking for help in the search.

Body found

On Saturday, was found the body of parachutist Ana Carolina Silva, who was missing since the afternoon of Friday, 15, after parachute jump in the Amazon capital. The woman’s body was found in the region of the district of Cacau Pirêra, Iranduba municipality, in the metropolitan region.
